Slide 1@2,The history of farming dates way back to the ancient Egyptian settlement. First off, when ancient Egypt was around, they depended on the Nile river and its fresh water containing silt. The water was pulled from the river by a wooden shaduf. A shaduf was a wooden lever that helped obtain the fresh water from the Nile. It has a wooden bucket that can be pulled and moved by just pushing or pulling the lever. Also, farming was a huge discovery because it led to people having new jobs and growing not scavenging. Without farming man kind and women not be the same. Farming is a skill that a lot of people wanted to do to meet there basic I needs.

MODERN USES

  • We have more technical ways
  • Tractors instead of animals
  • Collect hay in hay bales
  • Instead we pay for land in money
  • Different kinds of soil
Slide 3@4. Modern uses of farming is more precise and technical than the ancient times. Now a days we use mechanical tractors and other tools that make it less backbreaking work. Also we no longer use animals. Also, our land size can expand by a lot, it only depends on they amount of money you are willing to pay. Plus, instead of paying your taxes in grain and vegetables you pay it in money or currency. Lastly, usually farmers grew what they can make money off of, or they love to eat.

THE PURPOSE

  • To make a surplus of food

Slide 5@6. The purpose of farming was that people in the early days could gather food without kill baby deer. In my opinion, the purpose of farming was that people could have a hobby and a surplus of food in just months. Also, it could make for very easy trades. Plus, the slaves and animals could make a huge impact for there use. In addition, people would be more fit from eating healthy and working out. Lastly, it takes pure skill to be a great farmer

Slide 7@8. How farming was discovered was never really found out. There were many theory's on how farming was discovered. First off, the moves and groovin method. It was the method where they were going to move but the plants grew back. Secondly, the watch, the watch was a method where they watched animals and by time went by the plants grew. Lastly, the accidental method, it sounds like the most realistic method. They were walking down and one girl drop a basket full of grain. They forgot about like nothing happened then they came back months later. POOF!!!!! It grew back.

Slide 9@10. Interesting facts about farming and agriculture is that the method was never found out. Also, they say that Egyptians were the first farming. In addition, still today some people still hand plant there crops. Also, grain grew in random areas not just fields. Lastly, they grew what they wanted and what they could really nourish off of.
