-He was the founder of Modern Human Anatomy.

-He was also a major founder of the Scientific Revolution.

He wrote a Thesis on the work of Surgeon Rhazes. Vesalius showed that Galen was wrong on some points of Human Anatomy. He was interested in comparing Greek and Arabic translations.
