  • Cut & arrange live, dried, and silk flowers and greenery 
  • Help customers to choose suitable flowers and plants
  • Design bouquets & arrangements based on ideas of client
  • Advise client on how to care for flowers/plants purchased
  • Deliver & set up arrangements/displays at a variety of events

EDUCATION




To gain the skills needed to become a floral designer, you can:

+ Take a floristry course at a local college
+ Join a local flower arranging society
+ Look for opportunities to help out in a florist's shop as a volunteer or intern
