What is a Novelist
A novelist is a type of writer that creates fictional stories. Writers mostly right stories in one genre but some write in more than one genre. They are usually called Cross-Genre.

NOVELIST DONT NEED ANY DEGREE BUT IF YOU WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU COULD Get a degree in English or writing.

HOW DO NOVELIST GET PUBLISH

  • Novelist send their manuscripts to different publishers
  • Some novelist hire agents to help them
  • Print on demand (POD) which is really popular.

SKILLS YOU NEED TO BECOME A NOVELIST

  • You need to come up with new ideas
  • Good at research
  • Should have a eloquent and creative writing style
  • And a degree in writing or english would help too

Salary
salaried authors and writers made an average income of around $65,960 in 2010. Freelance novelists, though, may make more or less than this, depending on their contracts with their publishers and how many of their books sell.
