👧Transportation👦
Dugout canoes from hollowed -out logs but usually they preferred to travel by land. No horses until colonists brought them over from Europe, so the Caddoes used dogs to help them carry their belongings.

They speak Caddo languages. But today, most Caddo speaks English.

Story telling very important for Caddoes. There are a lot of tranditinal legends and fairy tales.

East and northeast Texas in pine forest. Large trees such as oale, pecan growing, and other trees. They also had news. One river was the Red river.

👮Entertaiment👼
There is a cultural festival called Powwows. The Caddo trives favorite instrument is drums.

Since they lived in southeastern they would plan plants, squashes, beans, pumpkins, sunflowers, and two crop of corns.

🎼music & arts🌊
Music: important instrument is drums. A group of Caddoes man stands around the drums and play it toghether.
Arts: Art were famous for pottery. Caddo artists made elaborately decorated pots and bottles in many different styles.

The Caddoes traded ball shelt, with its gunpowder, lenifes, hakes of beads, wadhalks, bells exes, wire, shirts, deer skin, and other stuff.

  • The word Caddo comes from the Indian word Kadohadacho which means "true chief".
  • Their weapons including bow and arrow and club uses bones and woods.
