Jupiter

  • 483.8 million mi away from sun
  • Largest planet, redish brown in color.
  • 11.86 Earth years (or 4,332 days).
  • Jupiters atmosphere is mostly made of molecular hydrogen and helium other gases are present only in small amounts and include methane, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and water.
  • The planet's surface is covered in thick red, brown, yellow and white clouds. One of Jupiter's most famous features is the Great Red Spot.
  • Jupiter was the supreme god in Roman mythology.
  • Jupiters natural satellites are Metis, Adrastea, Amalthea, and Thebe and many more.
  • Jupiter has very thin rings that aren't visible to the naked eye, they are made of small bits of dust.
  • Jupiter has the fastest rotation of all the planets in the Solar System, completing one rotation on its axis every 9.9 hours.
  • In conclusion Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system that has a redish brown color and, has so many moon.

Saturn

  • 890.7 million mi from the sun.
  • Saturn looks gray in color and has large rings.
  • It takes Saturn 29.45 years (or 10,759 days).
  • Saturn is made up of mostly hydrogen, most of the rest is helium. Other elements, such as methane and ammonia, are found in small doses. Nitrogen and oxygen also mix within the atmosphere.
  • Saturn has diffrent colorations around it because it has chemical reactions happening and has storms all over it.
  • Name got from the god of agriculture.
  • Saturn's moons are Titan, Rhea, Iapetus , Dione and, Tethys and more.
  • Saturn's rings are made of ice and are very large and has some very thin ones too.
  • Saturns rotation is 10 hours and 14 minutes a day
  • In conclusion Saturn is a gas planet that has large rings that are visible and has a diffrent color pattern scattered around it.

Uranus

  • 1.787 billion mi from sun
  • Uranus is blue in color and is the third largest planet.
  • 83.4 years to orbit the sun.
  • Saturn, is composed primarily of hydrogen and helium. Also made up as frozen water, ammonia and methane.
  • Surface is blue and is just a gas surface.
  • Name of the husband of Gaia and the father of the Titans in Greek mythology.
  • Satellietes are Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca and, Cressida and many more.
  • Uranus has 11 rings that aren't very circular and aren't centered.
  • 17 hours and 14 minutes to rotate in a day.
  • In conculsion Uranus is the third largest planet that is very blue in color and has 11 rings that are vertical.

Neptune

  • 2.795 billion mi from the sun.
  • Neptune like Uranus is blue in color.
  • 164.8 Earth years to rotate around the sun
  • Naptune mostly consists of hydrogen and helium, with trace amounts of methane, water, ammonia and other ices.
  • Neptunes surface s blue and very icey.
  • Neptunes name is the god of sea.
  • Neptune's satellites are Naiad,Thalassa, Despina and, Galatea and more.
  • Neptune has 5 rings, Galle, Le Verrier, Lassell, Arago, and Adams.
  • 19.1 hours in a day
  • In conclusion neptune is a blue colored planet that has 5 rings named after astronomers and has the longest revolution oround the sun.
