After the death of Lucy dr.seward, Arthur, Quincy, and Jonathan vow to kill Dracula. Although they did have to overcome a lot of obstacles they did succeed in killing Dracula.

The story starts off with a character named Jonathan harker and he has to take a trip to Draculas castle. During his stay at the castle he noticed many strange things and has a few weird or scary incidents happen to him. Later on in the story we find out about Mina and Lucy. Mina is Jonathan's wife and Lucy is her best friend. Mina found it strange though that Lucy's sleeping habit came back to her, Lucy's habit was sleep walking. One night when Mina woke up she didn't see Lucy in her bed so she went out to find her.

When Mina found Lucy she saw a man over her. Later when Mina brought Lucy back she saw two red marks on her neck and thought that she pricked Lucy with a needle. Later in the story people started to notice that Lucy was acting strange and that she seemed to be getting weaker and paler. Dr.seward and van helsing try to treat Lucy back to good health by giving her multiple blood transfusions but some of the blood transfusions were kept a secret from her husband Arthur holmwood. Van helsing could not come up with a solution to save Lucy so in the end Lucy was killed by her husband Arthur.

At this time Jonathan is also returning home to Mina. Van helsing decides to bring Mina, Jonathan, Arthur, Quincy, and Seward together to talk about the dangers of vampires, and to kill Dracula in order to seek vengeance for Lucy. It becomes an obstacle for them though when Draculas next victim is Mina. This of course put a huge set back on them. In the end though this did not stop them. They end up killing Dracula. After this they return back to England.
