Edward Robert Hughes was born in 1851, London.

Assistance
He was a nephew to William Holman Hunt.
Later on, Hughes help him with St. Paul's version of The Light Of The World

Best Art Pieces
His best art pieces were Midsummer Eve and Night With Her Train Of Stars.
Most of his pieces were based on midnight fantasies.

Robert Hughes would often use watercolor/gouache.
You can usually see the smooth coloration in his pieces.

Diploma
He was elected ARWS in 1891.
ARWS means Associate Royal Watercolor Society.
After he was elected, he was bound to making mystical pieces inspired by
Christina Rossetti's Armor Mundi.

Robert Hughes experimented with many techniques and became a perfectionist.
Doing numerous studies for his paintings, some of them became detailed
enough for display.
