THE INCA

INSTRUMENTS

• The inca made several instruments we use today
• Some thay made are the drum, flute and guitar
• The material they would use to make them was wood, string and small rope
• They would use these instruments at religious gatherings

TERRACED FARMING

• The Inca lived on mainly mountains so it was very hard to farm anything
• They invented terraced farming to deal with this problem
• It's works because the water flowes through the the soil but still getting to the plants
• It also makes a flat surface for the farmers to plant seeds and for the plants to grow

FROZEN-DRYED FOOD

• To make frozen-dryed food they would put their foods out side that they wanted to freeze
• Because they lived at high altitude it was very cold at night
• This would make the food dry and make it last for a long time
• Doing this helped the Inca win wars and take over cities
