the klu klux klan is a clan of white people. They go around hurting blacks and often killing them.They are also known as the KKK they would often burn crosses in peoples front yard.
On every bus back during the segregated times there was a colored part and a whites part. When the whites used up all there seats the blacks would have to move to the back.Blacks did not like this so they boycotted for severial years until they got the right to sit where they wanted to do
One day a black girl was going to school at a white school no one liked this at all cause at the time whites did not think blacks were equal.On the way there she went up to the front door were she was stopped by two soldiers. She did not get the message that she was supposed to go through the back in stead of the front because she did not have a phone.
The NAACP is an organization that helps blacks help fight for equal rights.Rosa parks happened to be in this group which helped her when she got arrested for not giving up here seat.Rosa parks was a big help to the NAACP she was the one who would get the records of what blacks did to get arreasted and helped them.
The Sit in, the sit in was a group of four college kids who wanted a meal.The four boys walked up to the counter of a Woolworth's were blacks were not aloud.The blacks would order a donut and coffee with cream on the side but they never got there food.The four boys knew this would happen they were just trying to make them mad so they would get there right to sit at a counter.Well soon enough all over America blacks were doing this they juste wanted there right to sit at a counter. They would even get coffee and food and ketchup poorer down there backs but they just sat there and took it.Soon enough a law was passed that said they could sit were ever they wanted.
