CRETACEOUS PERIOD WAS IN THE MESOZOIC ERA
- It occurred from 145 million years ago
- Until 65 million years ago
- It is inbetween the Jurassic and Paleogene periods

ANIMALS
One of the animals during this period was the Tyrannosaurus rex .
Another animal was Triceratops prorsus
VERY FRIENDLY
And another type of animal was pterosaurs

Mosasaurs were a type of sea creature
BEAUTIFUL SCENERY
A type of plant in the Cretaceous period was ferns.
Another plant that emerged in this period was cycads.
Another type of plant was ginkgoes

- Also, glaciers were mostly melted
