PRESENTATION OUTLINE

When you overfish in Scandinavia the fish get caught faster then they can reproduce. The long term effect is that there will be no more fish.

The leaders of the Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark) are seeking help from leaders in the field of environmental conservation.

COD WILL VANISH IN 10 YEARS

ATLANTIC COD IS THE MOST OVERFISHED IN SCANDINAVIA

National Geographic said, “A study of catch data published in 2006 in the journal Science grimly predicted that if fishing rates continue apace, all the world’s fisheries will have collapsed by the year 2048.”

Fish is very important in the diet of Scandinavians, but they must be cautious of overfishing.

To stop overfishing the Scandinavian government could pass a law that you can only harvest a certain amount of fish at a time.
