A pH scale is a scale that measures how acidic a substance is.The lower the pH the more acidic it is and the higher the less acidic.
Acidic rain is rain that is affected by the pollutants and certain gasses which causes it to become more acidic.
Some of the things that contribute to acid rain are factories which release gasses. More things are humans because we trow away trash which causes pollution.
This can impact the surrounding ecosystems not only by eroding things faster but buy killing animals over a long period of time.
There are some statues that have been here for a long time but the acidic rain causes them to break down and wear away. The same goes for some buildings that have been here for many years.
Some solutions can be to stop using harsh chemical such as cleaning supply's and many others. Another way is to use electric cars instead of using cars that release Co2 into the air. The best solution would be to completely shut down factories and try to make them more eco friendly.
