The Plague
The plague spread to Rome and killed thousands of people. The plague created labor shortage all throughout Rome. The military started to need recruits. The farm production also declined.
Invasion
Because of the plague, there were little recruits for the military. By cause of this, Rome became easier to invade. They started getting invaded by barbarian groups.
Agriculture
The plague also effected the farm production and agriculture. The invasions from the barbarian groups also effected agriculture because of the loss of land. The land also became very overworked and unusable.
