EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- bachelor's degree in social work (BSW) is the most common requirement
- It's good to have bachelor's in related field such as psychology or socialogy
- Master's degree in social work (MSW)
- Complete supervised practicum or an internship
- Courses in psychology, sociology, economics, & political science are recommended
