Jason is on the quest for his memory.

"He woke in the backseat do a school bus... They all looked around his age... Fifteen? Sixteen? Okay that was scary he didn't know his own age " (Riordan 1).

Jason shows a calm personality when he wakes up not knowing who he is. He maintains a calm composure and adapts to his surrounding. Through observations he realizes that he attends a high school called the Wilderness School and has a girlfriend named Piper and a friend named Leo. He is also brave in the sense that he keeps his composer or cool, when he is placed in this new environment. He is scared, but able to maintain cool headedness. He only remembers shreds of memory, such as a little Latin, knowledge of the Roman gods, and he knows how to fight.

"And I believe we know who your father is. Jupiter Jason said. I mean Zeus, lord of the sky " (Riordan 127).

Jason learns that he is the son of an almighty god and still keeps calm showing his adaptable personality. He discovers his new potential and finally finds out who his dad is. Through discovering this new info he has gained confidence in himself. He also gains strength, because from being the son of, Zeus the lightning god, he gains electrical powers. From all this he gains an important attribute, the sense of responsibility to take care of his friends.

"I can't leave you alone... If I'm not back In five minutes... Panic " (Riordan 247).

Jason in this quote is talking to Piper and is worried about her. In the beginning due to his amnesia he knew nothing about Piper, but as the story progresses he learns more about her and forms a strong bond with her. He realizes the beauty of Piper and takes care of her. He forms a bond of trust with Piper. Piper supplies Jason with motivation and Jason gains confidence with her at his side and a sense of protecting her.

"Leo and Jason charged to intercept. Piper was amazed how fearlessly the boys attacked working like a team who had trained for years " (Riordan 317)

Leo and Jason form an interesting bond throughout the story, a bond of respect and honor. They also form a powerful bond of trust with each other. This exemplifies the bond of many wolves. They both respect each other and the things they do to help the group succeed. Jason, being the group leader is respected by Leo and Leo, being the being the mechanic is respected by Jason. They both have honor in the things they do for the group and sometimes this causes conflicts between them.

"Coming this far had been a team effort, but when it came to life and death decision, Leo knew Jason was the one to ask " (Riordan 449)

This quote represents Jason's leadership, power, respect, and trust amongst the group. He has acquired leadership qualities as he goes throughout his journey. This also shows Jason's strong bonds and the trust he forms in his group. Jason gains mass amounts of power and courage throughout the story by overcoming conflict after conflict. He also gains new knowledge about himself therefore, resulting in more confidence. Throughout the story his friends have helped him acquire a lot of these attributes by supporting him.

"I'm the son of Jupiter!... I'm a child of Rome , consul of demigods, protector of the first Legion. I slew the Trojan sea monster.... I toppled the black throne of Kronos and destroyed the Titan Krios with my own hands. And now I'm going to destroy you Porphyrion, and feed you to your own wolves " s(Riordan 510).

This quote reveals a new attribute about Jason, his determination. He now fully knows and understands his past resulting in the build up of courage and confidence. He also becomes more mature in realizing his responsibilities and taking control of the situation. He also turns a little evil in the end when he says he will feed Porphyrion to the wolves. His build up of frustration and anger towards this antagonist, who stole his memories, finally overflows resulting in power and murderous intent.

Jason after going through one conflict after another finally finds his true identity and his true nature.
