What Happened...

On September 11th, 2001, 4 American airliners were hijacked by 19 Al- Qaeda members.

United Airlines Flight 93

Flight 93 was taken over by 4 Islamic Al- Qaeda hijackers.

The flight changed it's course once taken over, and flown in the direction of the capitol.

However, the passengers onboard took over the cockpit and detained all 4 hijackers.

Unfortunately, none of the passengers knew how to maneuver the airplane...

The passengers were forced to fly the plane into a large field in Pennsylvania.

There were no survivors.

American Airlines
Flight 77

American Airlines Flight 77 was hijacked by 5 members of the Al- Qaeda.

The plane was flown into the Western side of the Pentagon.

There were many more deaths than what had occurred with flight 93.

American Airlines Flight 11

Flight 11 was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center early in the morning.

As this was the first attack, most were caught by surprise.

United Airlines Flight 175

A half hour later, another airliner flew into the Southern tower.

At this point, most people knew that this was an act of terrorism.

The attacks on the World Trade Center are the attack sites where the most amount of people died.
