PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

Citlalli Gonzalez

The Proclamation of 1763
King George the third has made a royal proclamation which states the the people of the colonies are not allowed to settle past the Appalachian mounts, yet it is silly since we could improve our economy if we settled there, since there is better land then over here on this side of the mountain we could have a better chance to harvest and raise animal.

Sugar act.
Now his royal highness wants to put, or has put an act named The Sugar Act. This act is so unfair, who has the kind of money to pay taxes on sugar, certain wines, coffee, pimiento, cambric and printed calico, and further, regulated the export of lumber and iron. This "king" is way over his head!

Quartering Act:
I am so furies right now, king Gorge is now forcing us to house his "dear" British soldiers. My family and I nearly even have enough space and food to live on and he expects us to house a grown man, this is outrages.

Stamp Act.
One of these days I am going to give king Gorge a piece of my mind. Now he expects us to pay taxes on Ship's papers, legal documents, licenses, newspapers, other publications, and even playing cards. Playing cards maybe next he should put taxes on the air we breath.
