Story of My Life as a Swimmer

Sarah Gudas Ms. Syzmborski Digital Literacy March 2015

My interest for swimming began during the Olympics.

In sixth grade, I wanted to join my school swim team.

I did very well that season.

As it came closer to summer, I wanted to swim for my swim club.

At the banquet, I did not get any awards and I wanted to quit.

The next summer, I qualified for finals.

After that season, I wanted to take swimming more seriously.

Because of that, I had to quit dancing.

A really good club swimmer told me I should join the USA team that she swims for.

That fall, I got something like a scholarship, but for a swim team.

After training and traveling with the club team I joined, it became time to tryout for Ryan.

I made the team, and decided to practice with them, so I could grow closer to my teammates.

I recently made first team all Catholic at districts and champs.

Now I am back on my USA team, working to achieve new goals.

Swimming is like food, I cannot live without it.
