Hazel Grace Lancaster

• Her parents make her go to a cancer support group at the church where she meets Gus.
• She must carry an oxygen cart with her to help her breathe.

• Gus is an 18 year old who formerly had cancer.
• He was in remission for about a year.
• Gus was formerly a star basketball player, but had to quit since he lost one of his legs from the cancer.

• Isaac is Gus' 17 year ol best friend.
• Isaac had a form of cancer that caused him to lose his eyesight.

Hazel is forced to go to a cancer support group that Isaac also goes too. One day Gus go's with Isaac where him and Hazel meet each other.

Hazel and Gus start spending all their time together and eventually start dating. They go on many adventures together. Gus later gets sick and Hazel spends most of her time with him at his house.

I would definitely suggest reading this book. It is an AMAZING book. The end is something I didn't see coming and it's worth reading. It definitely hooked me. I couldn't put it down and I read it all the time just because it's so great.
