WHAT IS IT?
Ribosomes are all contained within living cells. They are tiny organelles made up of RNA (60%) and protein (40%)
There are two types; Eukaryotes and prokaryotes

EUKARYOTES
They are ribosomes made up of four strands of RNA
Produced and assembled in the nucleolus.
Some ribosomes remain free floating while others come together in cytoplasm.
3 of 4 are produced in the nucleolus but 1 is produced outside and then brought back in to finish being made.
