WHAT CAUSES POVERTY?

Most of the families don't make enough and harley have enough to buy food because an average family lives on $1.25 a day, and an Average America lives on $94 a day. Also some of the major reasons why there is poverty is because of the harmful economic systems, droughts and climate change, and also population growth.

HOW DOES POVERTY AFFECT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN AFRICA ?

It's makes growing gaps in a child's education. And it sets them farther back the any other child in the U.S

What are people trying to do to stop poverty in Africa?

The first thing they need to do is have a good government and leadership. The government will have to solve all the issues that include the use of unemployment, welfare, and corruption.

More then 70% if Africa's poor people live in rural areas and depend on agriculture for food, yet agricultural is decreasing.

In 1820 the average European worker made about three times what the average African did. Now the average European makes twenty time what an average African does.

In sub-Saharan Africa more than 128 million people live in extreme poverty. Also sub-Saharan looses over $28 billion to water and sanitation problems.
