• Captured imagination of Christopher Columbus.

FERDINAND MEGELLAN

• Is a Portuguese navigator.
• Sailed around the southern tip of South America and in to the Pacific .
• Was killed in the Philippines.
• One of his ships were one of the first to circumnavigate.

COLUMBIAN EXCHANGE

• Was the transfer of plants and animals.
• The transfer was between Asia, Africa and Europe.
