• Fire is a chemical reaction that releases light and heat.
• Fires require fuel,oxygen, and heat to burn
• Heating wood or fuel releases suffocating vapors
• Flames can be different colors depending on which substance is burning.

Where and When I saw Fire at Camp Kern

• On Monday and Thursday night campfires. 
• During the trail group survival in the afternoon.
• On Wednesday during the Pioneer activity in the morning
