CHINESE ANCIENT NUMBER SYSTEM
The Chinese number system was invented at the end of the Shang Dynasty in 1500 BC.
The Chinese number system consisted of symbols and lines.
The Chinese made something that looks like a checker board but it only had lines as number.
After the checker board was made, there was a lot of confusion. The number 12 or written in Chinese ||| could look like the number 3 or 21.
To solve that problem the Chinese had to create a solution
