PRESENTATION OUTLINE

I is for Innocent
When I think of Johnny, I think of how innocent he is. Now he is nervous when he's around the Soc's because he got jumped by them. Now the gang thinks of him as the kicked puppy. So now the gang doesn't lay a hand on him and always sticks up for him. (Before Chapter 4)

J is for Jelous
Ponyboy always talks about how jelous he is of the Soc's. He always says "they never have to work". "They get what ever they want" and "they have so much time to screw around, they jump people for fun".

K is for Kindness
The one thing that is scarce in this book is kindness. I was surprised that Cherry and Marcia were kind to Johnny and Ponyboy, because they're greasers. Johnny and Ponyboy then gave them respect.

L is Loyal
What someone wants in a person is loyalty. That's what Dally shows in this book. Even though Johnny murdered someone, Dally helps him out.

M is for Mustang
One of the most popular cars out there is the mustang. In the 60's when they created it, they sold more of these than any other car (Top Gear). In this book, the Socs drive a Mustang and that's how Johnny and Ponyboy know when the Socs are coming, they spot the mustang.

N is for Nervous
The person is always nervous in this book is Johnny. The reason why I think he's nervous is because he always fears the Socs. You can also tell when Johnny is nervous because his ears glow red.

O is for Open
One thing that Ponyboy did with Cherry is open up to her. This is special for Ponyboy because he hasn't really opened up to anyone else. What Ponyboy wishes he could do is open up to the gang.

P is for Poor
When people think of Greasers, they think of being poor. That's what the Greasers see it as and that's what the Socs see it as. If your poor, your probably are a Greaser and if your rich, your probably a Soc.

Q is for Quiet
When I was younger, first thing people thought of me was that I was quiet. That's what I think of Johnny. He's calm and quiet and doesn't question anything, he just does it.
