Hurricanes are made by warm ocean waters & moist atmosphere conditions. Theres about 90 of these storms worldwide each year, But they might become more frequent as the world warms, but that the storms that the storms that occur are likely to contain stronger winds & heavier rains. They are also likely to become stronger in the western north pacific, home to most heavily populated cities in the planet. But North Atlantic won't be spared either.

Hurricane damage cost ;
Hurricanes like hurricane Katrina, Wilma can cost up to $200 billion dollars in repair. Minor ones can cost up to $8-10 billion dollars in repair.

Hurricane Hugo was one of the strongest hurricane.It went from a category 5 to category 4 hurricane. Winds were near 160 mph, and also caused a lot of damage $8 to $10 billion damage. Low Pressure developed over the Eastern Gulf Coast, and the hurricane strengthened , and a large eye appeared in the satellite.

Hurricanes can cover over 100 - 300 miles across & also some can last for hours, while others can last weeks.

The hurricanes eye is the center of the hurricane which is the focus of the hurricane .
