Does the development in countries cause more babies to be born and have a less chance of dying at infancy?

Many people believe that babies dying at a very young age is normal. But is it really? The United States has a pretty high crude birth rate (CBR). Did you ever wonder why?

There are countries out there that have a very low (CBR). It's good that they keep it that way. That means babies don't die that often during infancy.

About 529,000 woman die from complications during their pregnancies. When this happens usually the babies do not make it.

My guess is that when a country has a lower (CBR) the country is a more developed country. For example the country might have better care or technology.

Italy is a beautiful place with many historical sites, although it has so much history Italy is still a developed country. It is also rich in resources

I think that more developed countries are allowing more infants to be born and to live longer because these countries have better care for the mothers and a better amount of technology to determine any thing that could be wrong with mothers or babies. Since they have this it is easier for doctors to save babies that are at risk of dying.
