• About 1,110 left in the world.
• They live in agricultural places.
• Hawaiian hawk is one of many few extant species native to Hawaii.
• Hawaiian hawks are strong fliers and can be seen in the valleys of Hilo.

animal description

• A hawaiian hawk is only 16-18 inches tall.
• A hawk can be brown,dark brown,spotted and mostly speckled.
• A hawaiian hawk has wings,talons,breast and claws.
• Female hawks are slightly larger then males.

life cycle

•  Hawaiian hawk can live from 2-4 years.
• Like all other birds hawks lay eggs.
• They are very noisy during mating season.
• They live in forests when they are breeding and mating.
• A male hawk can only visit to deliver food.

• Hawaiian hawks live in agricultrural places like nut and papaya orchards.

• Nothing eats a hawaiian hawk.

population status

• A hawaiian hawk is being removed from the endangered list this year.
• The main reason it was endangered is because we shot them.
• The other reason was because we cut down their trees.

• Hawaiians are very praising  to the hawk 
• They adore it because they beleive it is their ancestors watching them.
• scientests predict that hawks will be removed from  the list this year.
• To save the hawks faster we can stop cutting down trees.
