Hunger games is one of my favorite books. I read all three books and saw both of the movies that have been released. I started the first book of the series 3 years ago.

In the Hunger Games universe the world is divided into 12 districts. It was originally 13 districts, however after a war, the government destroyed district 13 as punishment. That was also the year the Hunger games commenced.

This is where the hunger games take place. There is 24 players in total, 12 girls and 12 boys. Last one standing wins. There is a cornucopia at the center of the arena filled with weapons. This is where most of the killing is.

Katniss Everdeen is my favorite character in the Hunger Games. She is determined, tough and intelligent. She is the one of the tributes from district twelve to attend the 74th annual hunger games.

President Snow is the Antagonist of the Hunger Games. After Katniss Everdeen cheated the Hunger Games, he will not rest until he gets revenge. In his frustration Snow killed the arena maker Seneca Crane for allowing 2 tributes to walk out, instead of one.

The Capitol is where President Snow lives. The citizens in the Capitol are all rich, and they have bizarre clothing. This is where all the tributes for the hunger games are taken to for training. The citizens in the capitol watch the hunger games for fun, and they bet on which kid will be the last one standing.
