Warp Drive:
According to Nasa, we need about 400 years
to discover the technology, and to get the resources.
At the moment all we have from this is a possible
Blueprint from NASA.

Lightsaber: The lightsaber would not be just light. It would more than likely be a pole of super carbon pole that shoots
out, and emits super heated plasma.
Today we have toy lightsabers that
are contained in hard plastic.

Phaser: Will NOT be visible, if it would be true to the series, (which says that the beam is made of pure energy). The beam would also move about four time faster than the show.
At the moment we really haven't looked into
laser weapon technology yet. The closest thing to this I can
think of, are super consentrated lasers.

Alien life: Considering the fact the the Galaxy itself, would take about 2-4 million life times to walk across, the chance of other life is incredibly high.
The progress we have made in this so far, are pictures of a few Earth like planets about 300,000 million miles away from Earth.
