REASON # 3 (OVERPOPULATION AND DISEASE)
Rising numbers of people caused overpopulation in cities.
Disease began to spread because of the overwhelming population.
The Roman population dropped due to the thousands of deaths caused
by the disease.

REASON # 2 (MILITARY DISCIPLINE)
The Romans relied too much on their army and weapons.
The majority of taxes were spent on military support and army needs.
The military didnt focus on naval defense which eventually led to Rome's end.
The army forces were far more important than the citizens of Rome.

REASON # 1 (LEADERSHIP FAILURE)
Most of Rome's leaders had little success and unavoidable failure.
Leaders at the peak of their power would end up corrupt and power-hungry.
Caesar, their greatest leader had a short lived victory among the Roman Empire.
False promises influenced the people of Rome to become corrupt.
