- Tropical evergreen forests

- Siberian tigers are found in eastern Russia
- They also live in China
- Some live in North Korea
- None live in the U.S.

BEHAVIOR
- They use their weight to knock prey to the ground and kills with a bite to the neck.
- They are also very good swimmers.
- Have been known to kill prey while swimming.
- They are mainly active at night and less active during the mid-day heat.
- Repeatedly enter water to cool themselves.
FOOD SOURCES
- Siberian tigers are carnivores
- They eat elk, deer
- Wild boar, lynx, bear
- Also eat fish, rabbits and small rodents
- Wild boar makes up half of its diet

- Siberian tigers are endangered
- People want their fur
