PRESENTATION OUTLINE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- A Jar
- Black paper
- A bag of ice
- Hot water
- Food coloring
- A match
- Tape
1st- tape the black paper to the jar.
2nd- fill the jar half way with hot water.
3rd- add around 5 drops of food coloring into the water.
4th- light the match and then put it into the jar.
5th- close the jar with the cap.
6th- put the ice on the top of the jar.
7th- wait for around 1 minute.
Last, take the ice bag and cover of the jar. Watch the cloud come out of the jar!☁️☁️
The cloud forms because inside the jar the hot water heats up the air that's inside.
Some of the water evaporates which creates water vapor.
The warm air rises and then cools because of the ice.
When the water molecules cool they tend to stick together
(Same thing happens with the smoke)
THIS IS CALLED CONDENSATION!
