Ola sen oops I mean hi I'm Seaman. I'm a Newfoundland dog and I have black fur that's very warm and cozy that my owner likes to sleep on.

By the way if you were wondering my owner Is Meriwether Lewis. He is very nice that's what makes him so great and his best friend who came with us on this expedition is William Clark. He's nice to.

I'm having so much fun on this expedition! All the walking,running,and writing. Doesn't that sound fun? Oh I can't forget to tell you about Sacogowea she helped us on our journey even though she was about to have a baby.

Whoa whoa whoa watch it I'm trying to write here. What is that thing? Some animal just ran across my foot. Now Lewis captured it and is drawing it. I wonder what it is? Oh Lewis just said it was a prairie dog. Well that doesn't make any sense because it doesn't look like a prairie or a dog.

How or why in the world do they call it that? Oh I get it now because it lives on the prairie DUH I knew that I knew that. I still don't get why they call it a dog. We've seen lots of animals. My favorite was the buffalo because Lewis let me chase them.

Oh my gosh everyone is saying we're almost there. I'm so excited to swim in the cool water! Yay!! Well that just looks like more snow and mountains but when you think about it more running,walking,and writing. Well maybe not that much writing I think I'll take a break.

We are finally here at the Pacific Ocean the water was so cool when I swam in it a minute ago. Now we have to say goodbye to all of our friends and animals we met on the way. It's so sad to think about leaving Sacogowea and her son Pomp.

I'm so happy I decided to take a break from writing because my mouth hurt really badly. Well a least we just got home everyone is so excited to see us. Can you believe they thought I was dead?Impossible I was the strongest one there who kept everyone alive. Ok ok I might be exaggerating a little bit but a least I stayed alive.
