1. The war helped the British in a few ways. The maritime and colonial war showed a reflection of the strength of the British navy. Which was itself the product of the wealth of Britain’s expanding colonial economy and the strength of British public finances.

2. As a result of the war Great Britain became the leader in overseas colonization and Prussia emerged as a powerful force in Europe.

3. The end of the war put immense pressure on Britain which had huge debts and because of this they imposed new taxes on its colonies.
