SOLOMON'S LIFE

BIRTH

• King Solomon was born around the 10th century
• He is the second oldest son of King David
• His mother was Bathsheba

HIS REIGN

• He reigned for about 40 years
• During his reign he built the Temple

THE 2 MOTHERS

• 2 mothers had sons
• One mother killed hers in her sleep and said the other baby was hers
• They went to king solomon to see if he could resolve the conflict
• He threatened to cut the baby in half
• The fake mother said okay do it and the real mother begged him not too so then king solomon knew.

ASKING FOR WISDOM

• God was pleased of Solomon he said ask for anything and you may recieve
• Solomon prayed for wisdom and God gave it to him.

HIS WIVES

• King Solomon had many wives that believed in different gods
• He started practicing their religions and turned away from God
• He had 700 wives and 300 concubines

DEATH OF KING SOLOMON

• God warned Solomon to turn away from the gods but he did not.
• So the title of king was stripped away from him
• King solomon died in 931 BC
• The cause of his death was old age
