PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Reason One: Amputation is the surgical removal of all or part of a limb such as an arm, leg, foot, hand, toe, or finger.
Reasons for amputation may be poor circulation because of damage of the arteries, caller peripheral arterial disease. Without adequate blood flow, the body cells can't get any oxygen and nutrients they need to from the bloodstream.
Reason Three:benefits of prosthetic limbs in Vietnam
Physical therapy is generally required to patients that have prosthetic devices and it helps the patients to control and care for their prosthetic device. Many people choose to use prosthetic devices to appear normal or average. This causes greater self-esteem and confidence within themselves during everyday activities.
New technologies are merging from publicly fund research projects, private labs, and prosthetic manufactures. Researchers indicate that about 46% people with a upper limb lost and they choose not to wear a prosthetic. This means that almost half of those with unreliable upper limb lost, came to rely on their remaining parts to do the manual tasks.

Diabetes is a problem that may lead to amputation. The patients with diabetes can't control their blood sugar, cholesterol, and weight. One in three people that have diabetes and are older than 40 have a area in their feet that lacks feeling.
