Research Dos:
- Research thoroughly (use at least three resources)
- Cite your sources
- Use a variation of credible sources
- Have specific information about your topic
- PROOFREAD

- Include information that does not discuss the topic
- Turn your paper in without proofreading and editing

- Click on "DISD Databases".
- Select your database and type your search term.

Avoiding Plagiarism
- Once you select your sources, CITE THEM!!
- Document sources on easybib.com using MLA format.
- Keep in mind that if easybib.com does not work, you can refer to the Purdue OWL Writing Lab for MLA guidance

*Type the topic, title, or author's name in the LS2 field.
*If you want to request the title from another school, click on the orange "Place Hold" button.
*Enter your student ID for your Library ID. Then, enter the last four numbers of your student ID for the PIN.
*Click on "Submit Hold".
*Check the top for the green strip that will say "Hold Placed Successfully".
