Habitat
The striped bass is typically found around the carolinas and Nova Scotia areas. The females begin to migrate around the age of five and the males as young as two. You will find them around the Hudson River in the winter and Maine and New Jersey in the summer. They live in the ocean except for when they are mating, then they go to freshwaters. They mostly live in calm waters with little trees. They eat different foods in different stages in there life. They eat zooplankton, fish larva, insects, worms, amphipods, ect..

Weather
The best time to go fishing for the striped bass is in the warm/hot weather. Since there aren't really any insects in the water when it's sunny the bass comes up to the surface to try and catch some.. During a cold front the bass will bite more due to it beginning to hibernate. When it's thunder storming the fish will go deeper into the ocean due to their dislike of wind and rain.
