  • Pregnant women who drink caffeine have babies
  • with lower birth weights. At 28-31 weeks babies
  • still have to double, or even triple in weight. Because
  • of this, moms should drink no more than 12oz a day.

  • At 28-31weeks the brain starts to take
  • shape. The groves of the brain are
  • starting to show.

  • Going in the hot tub during pregnancy is
  • a bad decision. Babies can be hurt by
  • temperatures over 102. It is not even safe
  • after 30 weeks, which is when babies start
  • to control their own body temperature.

Untitled Slide

  • By 28 weeks in the womb babies can dream
  • and blink. They can also use their mouth for
  • coughing, hiccuping, and practice breathing.

Untitled Slide

  • Some everyday medication, such as migraine
  • medication and antidepressants, should not be
  • taken during pregnancy. It can cause birth
  • defects in babies. Mothers should only take these
  • if their condition is severe and would hurt the baby.

  • Pregnant women should exercise during
  • 28-31 weeks. But they should exercise
  • less. 10min a day is good for mom as
  • well as baby, and won't wear the mother
  • out too much.

Untitled Slide

  • Varicose veins are common during the
  • later stages of pregnancy. 40% of pregnant
  • women develop varicose veins from the
  • extra blood in their body from their baby.
