  • The Colombia is a wool sheep

HISTORY

  • The columbia sheep were developed by the US Department of Ag as a true breeder
  • Original cross was made in Laramie, Wyoming
  • They were originally intended for ramge conditions
  • Adapted to lush grasses and farm flock management

  • Opened faced pink nostrils
  • White legs light colored hooves
  • Face looks sad and sleepy
  • Short wool

  • Both males and females are polled

WHY I PICKED

  • I wanted to enhance my classmates knowledge of this sheep
  • I also thought that this was a interesting sheep and wanted to learn more about it
