PRESENTATION OUTLINE

MARCHING BAND

WHAT THINGS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE?

JUDGES

WHAT DO THEY LOOK FOR VISUALLY?

TRANSITIONS

90% OF WHAT THE JUDGES SEE IS WHEN WE ARE BETWEEN SETS!

INTERVALS

  • Are the most noticeable visual element in marching
  • Intervals are the distance between you and the closest performers
  • Side to side intervals are more noticeable than front to back
  • If intervals are even, the form will always look CORRECT
  • Judges DO NOT HAVE OUR DRILL SHEETS!
