1 REASON

  • You don't need to find the LCD to convert it into a percent
  • It is easier.
  • You don't need to show work.
  • In one way you hardly need to use you're brain
  • I don't have another point to this......
When you are trying to convert decimals into fractions, you don't have to find the LCD unlike fractions. In one way I like to say that you don't need to use your brain that much.

REASON 2

  • You can easily find the price to something
  • If you're more comfortable with fractions, then you can't really find a price....
  • Most machines that weigh things uses decimals when they're not a whole number to that number.
  • When it's a repeating decimal you can round it easily.

WHEN CAN THEY GET ANNOYING?

  • When they are repeating
  • When you try to round them in a problem it's just going to mess it up.

WHEN CAN THEY GET ANNOYING?

  • When you're trying to find how much you've done, finished, etc.
  • I'm just going to say this, fractions take care of this

WHEN CAN IT BE VERY NICE TO USE?

  • When you find out how much you weigh or something else weighs.
  • Because, it tells you EXACTLY how much something weighs.
  • (Unless you weigh a full number
