• Pamela Skaist-Levy; Encino, California; June 3, 1963
• Gela Taylor; Corning, New York; November 5, 1960.

SKAIST

• Married Jeff Levy in 1986 and has one child, Noah.
• Studied at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA in late 80's.
• Had a millinery business in the late 80's called Helmet, also worked as a film stylist.
• Model/hipster boutique owner Tracey Ross, introduced Skaist to Taylor.

TAYLOR

• Divorced Chris Nash and is currently married to John Taylor ( March 16,1999).
• Has two children with Nash, Zoe and Travis. Earned a degree in drama from Carnegie-Mellon
• University in 1983. Appeared on Broadway in the late 70's and later became a TV and
• movie actress in the 80's. Launched a line of maternity wear with Skaist,
• Travis Jeans (1989), Juicy t-shirts (1994), and Juicy Couture (1997).

INFLUENCE ON THE FASHION WORLD

• Validates the lifestyle of the yoga-practicing, self-employed, cheerful,
• rock-'n'-roll, soccer mom. It's considered 'non fashion' at its most fashionable.
• Taylor and Levy took something that people only wore around the house and made
• it into something that is trendy and seen on women everywhere (famous track suit).

AWARDS

• Their perfume, Couture Couture, won FiFi Woman's Fragrance of the year award in 2007.
