SIDNEY POITER

Sidney Poitier was born
February 20 1927 in Miami, Florida. He moved from Florida back to the Bahamas. He is still alive and is 87 years old.

His parents were Evelyn and Reginald Poitier. He got into a lot of trouble when he was young. His father sent him back the the United States to join the army. He joined the America negro theater, but audiences didn't like him. He was tone deaf so he could not sing. He had to work on acting since he couldn't sing.

Sydney Poitier influenced the United States with his acting. He is a great role model to any person.
