PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Simple machines
Created by Jadyn
The simple machines I used in this presentation are inclined plane, wedge, lever, wheel and axle, and pulley.

Inclined Plane
When a plane is slanted it can help you move objects easier while still doing work.
Example: A ramp

Wedge
Instead of using the smooth side of an inclined plane, you can use the edges to do work. You can use the wedge to push things apart.
Example: The edge of a blade

Lever
A lever can pull things out making it easier to do than just doing it with your hands. At the bottom of a lever there is a fulcrum.
Example: A shovel

Wheel and Axle
The wheel turns the axle causing movement. The wheel makes the axle work.
Example: Wagon Wheels

Pulley
It can rotate a rope or cord. The pulley wraps around the wheel.
Example: The pulley on the flag pole
