PRESENTATION OUTLINE

DIFFERENCES

  • You can see the animation play out on your stage with a grahpic but you can't see it with a movie clip
  • You can't attach movie script codes to movie clips, but you can attach them to graphics
  • You can't see the entire animation of a graphic unless you have enough keyframes for the animation to play out

DIFFERENT PROPERTIES

  • with a graphic it automatically sets it to single use but you can change it
  • you can change the graphic to where it doesn't animate and stays on one frame
  • you can change the graphic to where it only plays once or it loops
  • the movie clip doesn't make you add more time to your timeline, making it easier to use

Basically, by using a graphic you can do more with it while working on your movie, but for simpler tasks it is better to use a movie clip because it requires less work and is simple

The movie clip plays and the graphic does not.

In order to make the graphic animate I need to add 20 frames into my timeline
