ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND IMPACT

They kept the soldiers and the Homefront healthy. Many more troops would have died if it wasn't for the Red Cross.

FACTS AND DETAILS

During WWII the Red Cross recruited over 200,000 nurses and certified 71,000 who served in the army and navy nurse corps.
