GUIDING QUESTION

WHAT ARE THE GENERAL AND CULTURAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AMERICA AND SPAIN?

INSPIRATION

WHILE IN SPAIN, MANY THINGS INSPIRED ME, SUCH AS:
It won't let you look at the rest of the sentences!

Walking~Everyone in Spain walked to the majority of the places they were going. Whether they were going to to school, to get some groceries, or just to hang out with some friends, they walked. Walking was easy because everything was so close. In the big cities, metros were used. I liked this about Spain and I think America could use more of this.

The food definitely inspired me. Before Spain, I was not open to trying new foods. Now I am...to some extent. Baby steps right? Now, I am less hesitant to trying some odd foods that are out of my comfort zone. Spain's food was fresh and better without all the gluten and fatty oils like America's food.

Culture is a HUGE part of Spain. From the food to the streets and buildings. They still have Cathedrals, Aquaducts, and buildings from the 13h century! That is what inspired me. Sometimes I felt like I was walking around town in the olden days. In Spain, you see more culture instead of everyone on their phone going to McDonald's.

PERSONAL IMPACT

GOING TO SPAIN HAD A GREAT IMPACT ON ME. IT HAS OPENED MY EYES TO NEW IDEAS AND PAY MORE ATTENTION TO CULTURE AND THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PLACES AROUND THE GLOBE.
